Maria and Adam were one of the many couples whose original wedding plans were impacted by COVID. Their original photographer was booked on their new date, so they came to me and I am so glad they did. They were what I call an ideal couple. In the midst of the COVID craziness, Maria and Adam couldn't have been more laid back and fun. In a time when they could have been full of stress and worry, they were filled with love and joy. The wedding took place in Fowler, Indiana at the Sacred Heart Catholic church where my grandparents got married in 1946. Maria previously taught at Sacred Heart School where her and Adam got ready for their big day. My dad, aunts and uncles all attended Sacred Heart School as kids. It was a pretty special location to me which made this day even more memorable and fun. To add to the sentimental feelings of this day, since Maria and Adam are both Purdue grads (Boiler up!) we did the majority of their photos at Purdue. Maria and Adam even got pictures inside and outside of Harry's Chocolate Shop, my favorite place. The wedding party hopped on their party bus and headed to the reception at the beautiful New Journey Farms. The night was a party full of dancing and celebrating this sweet couple. It was very clear that the Kissel's are so loved. They were surrounded by so many family and friends who couldn't have been happier and more excited to celebrate them. Enjoy some of my favorite photos from this special day. Congrats Maria and Adam!
